Creating Brave Spaces Where People, Purpose, and Possibility Thrive

Elizabeth Williams-Riley is the Founder and CEO of D.A.S.H. Consulting LLC — Developing Assets for Successful Habits — an organizational development and leadership consultancy helping organizations navigate complexity, strengthen leadership, and turn purpose into meaningful action.

For nearly three decades, Elizabeth has worked at the intersection of people, leadership, culture, equity, and organizational change. Her experience spans corporate boardrooms, nonprofit organizations, foundations, government, higher education, healthcare, civic organizations, and the performing arts—including some of the nation’s most recognized cultural institutions.

Her approach is grounded in a simple belief: sustainable change happens when people have the courage, capacity, and conditions to do things differently.

That is where brave spaces come in.

Elizabeth helps leaders and organizations create environments where people can engage complexity, challenge assumptions, have necessary conversations, and move from intention to action. Through organizational development, strategic planning, leadership development, executive coaching, board development, facilitation, and customized learning experiences, she helps clients build the habits and practices that make meaningful change possible.

Rather than offering one-size-fits-all solutions, Elizabeth works alongside clients to understand the systems, relationships, and realities shaping their organizations. She brings critical analysis, practical tools, and a human-centered approach to help leaders navigate difficult moments, strengthen teams, advance equity, and build cultures that adapt and thrive.

A Career Built at the Intersection of People and Possibility

Before founding D.A.S.H. Consulting, Elizabeth served as President and CEO of the American Conference on Diversity and as National Vice President of Programs for the National Conference for Community and Justice.

Her nationally recognized work has included partnerships with Fortune 500 companies, foundations, colleges and universities, financial institutions, healthcare organizations, government and civic organizations, nonprofits, law enforcement, faith-based organizations, and the performing and visual arts.

Across these settings, one thread has remained constant: helping people see what is possible—and then building the strategy, relationships, and capacity to move toward it.

Elizabeth is particularly known for bringing together perspectives that do not always share the same room: executives and employees, boards and staff, institutions and communities, strategy and culture, aspiration and accountability. Her work creates opportunities for people to move beyond simply understanding a challenge to developing the habits and practices required to address it.

Recognized for Impact

Elizabeth’s contributions to leadership, equity, and community have been recognized nationally, including:

  • Diversity Journal Woman Worth Watching, 2014

  • Girl Scouts of America Woman of Distinction, 2015

  • NAACP Corporate Community Service Award, 2016

  • South Asian Business Alliance Network Chairman’s Award for Advancing Equity and Inclusion

More Than a Consultant. A Partner in Change.

As a strategist, facilitator, speaker, executive coach, and organizational development consultant, Elizabeth brings both depth and practicality to her work.

She knows that meaningful transformation rarely happens because someone delivered the perfect presentation. It happens when leaders are willing to examine what is working, confront what is not, engage people differently, and develop new ways of thinking and doing.

That is the work of D.A.S.H.

Developing Assets for Successful Habits means helping organizations recognize the assets they already possess, identify the habits that may be holding them back, and develop the practices that move people and organizations forward.

Because the goal isn't simply to create another conversation about change.

It is to create the conditions for change to take hold—and thrive.

Let's D.A.S.H. Forward.

Whether your organization is navigating growth, transition, complexity, culture change, leadership challenges, or the need to reimagine what comes next, Elizabeth brings the experience, perspective, and practical partnership to help you move forward with greater clarity, courage, and possibility.
